Transformation: our Restored Revival Renovation Project

In the world of home design, transforming a dated space into a modern masterpiece is both an art and a science. It requires vision, and we designed this home with an exceptionally visionary team (www.mvarchitects.com, www. brusharborhomes.com, www.thornetcorder.com). The complete renovation of this 2000s colonial home breathed new life into every corner, from removing dated arched architectural elements to adding contemporary touches.

Out With the Old: Modernizing the Facade

The first step? Saying goodbye to the oversized arched entryway and the dated brick. The disproportionate arch was replaced with a large and beautiful front porch with a metal roof and contemporary lighting, and the entire home was painted SW White Duck.

Modern Comforts: Kitchen and Bathrooms

The heart of the home got a modern makeover with custom cabinetry in white oak, top-of-the-line appliances, and spa-like marble bathrooms, replacing tired fixtures with luxurious amenities. While much of the home is striking and bold, we kept the kitchen and family area approachable and livable, in hopes that a family would truly find restoration in this home.

Adding Modern Twist: Marble and Lighting

We wanted to keep the original sophisticated feel of the home, but bring it current and add a touch of the modern elegance. We added a few bold marble selections and well-chosen (if we do say so ourselves -HA!) lighting fixtures that matched the home's grandeur in a fresh way.

Making an Entrance: Black and White Marble Entryway

A stunning black and white marble entryway set the stage for the home's elegance, making a striking first impression that sets the tone. We envision beautiful gatherings and holiday parties - wouldn't this home be fun to decorate for the holidays?

In the end, this renovation stands as a testament to the transformative power of design, blending past and present to create a timeless sanctuary that's both elegant and modern.
